There is a restaurant in East Setauket called Setuaket Pastaria and the food is awesome!! It is decorated so nicely and you would have a whole little area to yourself

there is the Irish Coffee Pub in Islip .. very good food and nice rooms .. there are VFW or KofC halls that are nice and you can decorate them the way you like ..

Re: Where in Suffolk

i had my jr prom at the sunset harbor. it was nice. my friend was just in a wedding there in september. we looked into having or eparty there. i think they were about $35 per person. we wanted a brunch and they said that was more for some reason.

Re: Where in Suffolk

where did you end up deciding on for your e party? i was thinking one of the vineyards but that is far for some people.

I really want it to be a nice place and was thinking about beach house on Fire Island but I know that the ferry is an added expense so that is out of the question.

any other ideas?

Re: Where in Suffolk

we decided to stick to what we wanted, that was not having one. it took too long for our moms to agree on something. so when we passed being engaged for a year (since we had a 2 year engagement) that we can use that money for something else. theres also a place in hauppauge called the pomodorino that has a private room. take a look at this site maybe it can help http://www.crazyhungry.com/CrazyHungry_Search.aspx?page=3&sort=
