We are hoping to have it at a restaurant [Papazzio - Bell Blvd.] near the church. We have to speak with the manager about it - we only have about 20 people so it is definitely on the small side.

not really sure how this going to work, I would say Anthony's in Lk Ronk WOTL owns them so maybe they will give us a good deal. I havent ironed all the details.

I love Pappazio!! It's so good :) I just started researching places. It's hard though - I live in NYC and the church is in Suffolk, so most of what I have been doing is online. And the 3 places I have looked into are like $65-70 per head which is more than I want to spend. FH and I are paying for it and there will be about 50 ppl there. The search continues..

i dont know what to do... i'm having 20-30 people.... its not a reheasrsal dinner, but the same idea.... its AFTER teh wedding! (since noone is going & half dont know about it!)

so i'm trying to get ideas where i can have it.

Mabe somewhere in Little Italy................?

We are having it at the Rose HUnt room which is the restaurant at the Fox Hollow. Since we are getting married there we figured it would be very convienent also won a $250.00 gift certificate to have it there.

Jes, if you're interested in Little Italy, try La Mela on Mulberry Street. They have incredible food, family style eating with red & white wine, and it's not incredibly expensive.

As for me, I'm having my RD somewhere in Westchester on a Friday night at 7:30--I just have no idea WHERE in Westchester it will be!

We are doing ours at Trattoria Diane in Roslyn-- really pretty private room upstairs.

ang will you let me know what they tell you? I'm probably going to be having about 40 people but fh's mom is paying for it and doesn't want to spend too much...

i know i've asked this before but does anyone know of anywhere we can do buffet style or family style for around 15 pp?

Also try DaNico's...not very expensive but sooo good. It's always very busy though- I'm not sure how it works there (if you can rent part of the restaurant out or not).

As for us, we're having the RD at the Huntington Bay Club. Not my choice (I don't like the food and I think it's too stuffy for a RD), but it is what it is....gotta love FILs
