Where are you taking pictures. Are you going somehwere besides the church and RH? I'm getting married at Sunset Harbour in Patchogue so if anyone could help with ideas around there I would really appreciate it! TIA

Re: Where is everyone taking Day of Pics
I am getting married at the RH, so i don't know. I did want to do pictures at the beach before the ceremony, but July 3rd at 9 in the AM probably wont work at the beach... and the beach always messes up my hair. SO I am rethinking. Any ideas?

At the ceremony and reception locations. Long Island Maritime Museum and West Sayville Country Club. I don't really like the idea of going to a separate location.

We were considering Fire Island until I realized that a Sat in August means I would be sharing Fire Island with a million people. July 3 will probably be even worse.

We're getting married at the Royalton, so we'll be taking pictures only there. We're all getting ready there, including the guys, in the groom's suite. We can only do the photog for 8 hours, so she's coming at 4pm to get some getting ready shots, and then the rest of the photos from 5pm til 6:45 or so before guests start arriving for the ceremony (7:30pm). We have her til midnight!! I wish we could have her for more hours and do another location, but it's just not in the budget.

We have 3 hours between so probably the Bayard Cutting Arboretum.
I will be taking my pictures there too. I love that huge weeping beech tree!
