We took pictures at the Planting Fields in Oyster Bay. You can get some gorgeous pictures from that place!

We did ours indoors at the Holtsville Ecology Center. There are some in my album. You do need an appt though, but it's so nice because you don't need to fret about the weather. And for those getting married when there are no leaves on the trees, it's great!

We took ours at Hofstra University which actually has a Pinetum and and Arboretum on site.

Best thing was it was FREE.

Planting Fields Arboretum (we also had our ceremony there in the mansion). You can see pictures in my photo gallery: click here

The photo permit cost $120.00 and our photographer had to supply a certificate of insurance for $2 million. There were no problems whatsoever, photogs supplying COI's for that amount is industry standard.

And if it rains, there are two stone porticos and a small covered area in the italian garden that you can use.

We checked out Bayard Cutting Arboretum in Sayville too but logistically it didn't make sense. I've never been to Old Westbury but I hear it's stunning.

This is a picture of the greenhouse at SUNY Farmingdale: greenhouse
