Im here! FH is watching pre-season football on TV. Which means I could run around the house in nothing but a g-string and pasties (ew) and he wouldnt know.

hahha that is what my fh is doing too and we went to the jet game yesterday... football season stinks.... he coaches football and we watch it all the time

My life as a football widow:
FH is going to Minneapolis on the 2nd with his buddies for their annual Fantasy Football Draft. Who ever wins the league from the season before, gets to choose the location of the draft the following season.
FH plays football for a bar league in the city almost every Saturday from about September through December. So basically I lose him on the weekends.
He watches every pro and college game he can.
I NEVER tell him not to watch. I NEVER tell him not to play. It is his passion and I have learned to deal with it but...
...I LOATHE FOOTBALL. If one more person tells me I should learn to like what he likes, I will throw a spiral right at their head!

Goldi, my FI sounds like yours--he is in three fantasy leagues--and he goes to the bar every Sunday--he tries to invite me but like you I hate football--I don't understand it!!!! I can't wait to the end of January!!!!!

I hear ya!!!! I'm not telling him not to watch it since he obviously has some obsession with this dopey game and wouldn't want him to tell me not to do something that I love. However, I see NO reason for me to learn about a game I have zero interest in. Don't get me wrong, I'll sit and half heartedly watch it with him from time to time but I have no desire to learn the game. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one, sometimes people look at me like I'm nuts when I tell them I have no interest in Football.
And can someone please explain to me why it takes them a freakin hour to play 15 minutes?!

That would be like if i called up some friends from high school and said hey girls what are you doing this weekend? i thought maybe we would get together and go to the park to cheerlead
