Out in Suffolk C. I think thats where my sis wanted to move to bec they found a house that was huge for really cheap but it was too far. or was it Melville??

It's pretty far out there. It's out by Medford if that helps. It's passed Holbrook.

Melville is the first town in Suffolk coming from Nassau. It's right next to Huntington and Farmingdale. It's about half hour (w/o traffic) from my house in Queens.

i grew up there - i personally would live there again - it is Sachem schools - but its gone down hill since i was a kid - JMO

Oakdale is also far out. Probably exit 59, just before Sayville on the South Shore. Much better area!

it's pretty far out there if u'r coming from nassau or queens.. fh and i were looking coram which is like right next door.... it was a solid 40 minute drive from my house.. close to 60 minutes for fh from queens..
but quiet nice.. the town was in the news a little in past years as i recall. pretty intense problems with homes being used as boarding houses and undocumented citizens residing out there.. and there was something about they wanted to open a hiring hall for the day laborers so that they wouldnt stand aroudn outside.

Mad far from me - that's what I remember thinking when I met a guy from there at Voodoo years ago. Farmingdale was the town not so far but Farmingville was the far away town
When you grow up near Queens, all the LI towns seem far away.

Um...actually its really not a bad town to live in. Sachem schools are great and many of the new neighborhoods have gorgeous houses. We are going to try our hardest to stay here if we can find a house.

When you grow up near Queens, all the LI towns seem far away.
I know what you mean. I live in Staten Island and FH lives in Commack. I know how to get there and the surrounding towns, but not much more than that.
