I HAVE BEEN PART OF THIS BOARD FOR MANY MONTHS NOW AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECIEVED ANYTHING FROM LIW'S THAT SAY WELCOME PACKAGE...NOTHING AT ALL....I WANT TO KNOW WHERE MY WELCOME PACKAGE IS???? I HAVE ASKED MANY TIMES ABOUT THIS WAS TOLD WHEN YOU REGISTER YOU GET ONE...WELL I HAVE REGISTERED MONTHS AGO AND STILL NOTHING....SO WHAT'S THE PROBLEM WHEN I AM GOING TO GET MINE.......I WOULD LIKE AN ANSWER.....THANK YOU

IM GLAD THAT IM NOT THE ONLY ONE.....ALONG WITH THE CARD YOU ALSO ARE SUPPOSED TO GET SOME TYPE OF WELCOME PACKAGE.......RON AND LIZ CAN YOU EXPLAIN THIS AND POSSIBLY GIVE US SOME ANSWERS

Second of all, chill out...LIW has a lot of other things to do besides send out diamond cards...I have been on LIW almost 2 yeaers and never got this...
Third of all, if you have a question, FM LIW and ask them.

I understand that you normally type in caps, but it's not going to make you alot of friends around here. People are going to ignore your posts, not read them, and not take them too seriously. In many (if not all) online communities - caps are considered yelling.
Have you tried to FM them?

Wow. So much tension. Planning a wedding is stressful enough. All of this energy over the diamond card!!! Geeze. I got one when I registered. And as of today I have yet to use a LIW vendor. I just remembered I had the card when I read your posts. I mean, if you are that concerned about getting a card then FM the proper people that are responsible for getting one to you. LIW site has been very helpful and I am sure it has been beneficial to you as well. That is why you want a card. But, lets also remember to respect everyone on the boards. And, in my opinion, caps are known to everyone in the computer world as screaming. If we have never posted comments with you before, we would not know that you normally type in caps. Be mindful of that. Happy planning and I hope you get your card.

I never got the card either and honestly forgot about it until just now. I'm sure Ron and/or Liz will be happy to send it to you. Just send FM.

To be perfectly honest I got my diamond card and have never used it. Actually mentioned that I was on LIWeddings was enough for the vendors to 'do right by me'.

I've not used any vendors, but when considering them, I found the smae thing...just mentioning was good enough!

I have been a member since July '04. Never received the Welcome Packet or Diamond Card.
I did FM and emailed LIW, and was asked for my mailing address, which I supplied them. Then around the same time, there was a post similar to this one, and LIW (not sure if it was Ron or Liz) posted stating they had run out of welcome packets, but would be getting a bunch in soon and send them out.
Sure enough a few days later, girls were posting that they had received them. Some who'd been on longer than me, some the same amt of time, some less time.
I did not think anything of it, thinking mine would be coming soon as well.
To date, nothing has been received. Not losing sleep over it, but I think it's more of a 'What kind of goodies are in it' feeling.
