Where is the cheapest gym membership?

I live in Baldwin and was thinking about joining Sky Athletics in Rockville Center. It's a littly pricey but they have a lot to offer.

When I was pricing gyms, I found Lucille Roberts to be BY FAR the cheapest gym.
If you dont need the fancy classes, and the gorgeous expensive gyms (like NYSC, Golds), just work out and get home, and stay under $30 a month, LR seems to be the least expensive.

Thanks, 30 bucks sounds quite reasonable, compared to others that charge around 50/monthly.

I used to pay $24/month at Lucille Roberts but I really didn't didn't like it. You always had to wait for the machines, it was always crowded, and the equipment but pretty outdated. Maybe it was just the one I went to though -

Just remember you get what you pay for. I personally pay more and drive a little farther to go to a gym with awesome classes and instructors.

i go to lucille roberts and i spent 300 for 2 years and the option to go to any lucille roberts gym. i love it there- mostly for the classes. but it was definatly the cheapest and most convient becuase of the numberous locations.

i got a great deal at NY Sports Club in East Meadow, but I also got a teacher's discount. I pay $60 a month and it is down the road from work, so I go right after work and there is hardly anyone in there. I used to go to Lucille Roberts, but it was always crowded and I didn't like the classes.
