Where is your FH...

Ordering the tuxes??

We were thinking of Men's Warehouse because the guys can go near where they live, but I've heard mixed reviews.

Also, how early in advance should we be ordering them?

I heard negative reviews from them. One of my patients at work had a bad experience with them..I can't remember exactly what I just remember him telling telling me whatever you do when your fiance is ready don't get your tuxes from there..

We're thinking about using The Wedding Center in Commack (or some name like that) if anyone has anything to say about them I'd love to hear it!

Esquire Tuxedos in Merrick! Mike there is the BEST, and he's been super helpful through the whole process, even though the majority of our guys are OOT! Plus he has a tailor on site the day of pick-up so if there are any small alterations that need to be made, he can do them right then and there!

I highly, highly recommend going there. We went about 2 1/2 months before the wedding. It was seriously one of the BEST experiences we've had so far in the planning process!

FH was looking to use Mens Warehouse since no one lives in the same area and they could go to any location near them

We went to Mens Warehouse and they told my FH that they could not fit him.

My FH is very big the arms,shoulders and chest and then his waste is smaller so they said they would not be able to alter the tux the way it should be.

Mens Warehouse only does a hem on the pants and the sleeves, They do not take in the jacket.

We are using DI RE in Franklin Square. I would NOT use Men's warehouse in my opinion they are TERRIBLE-Fhs brother used them for his wedding and most of the guys suits did not fit properly including FHs even though we had them fix it when we picked it up. You can use any tux shop even if the GM live far away all they have to do is go to any tux shop get measured and call the shop where you are renting the tuxes from with their measurements. They can try the suits on when they pick them up. This is what we are having the GM do b/c FH refuses to use men's warehouse. We chose the tuxes about six months before the wedding but so far FH is the only one that has been measured. You can wait until a few months before the wedding.

WE used Ginos in Farmingdale and they were great, They had a large selection and the guys were from everywhere. They were able to get measured and order theirs online!

It's always funny to me how people can have such different experiences. We used the Men's Wearhouse in Bayside and didn't have any problems. The guys needed to be fitted & ordered 3 weeks prior to the wedding.

I'm not sure where you are located, but we ordered them from Bell Formalwear on Bell Blvd. in Bayside.

We are getting married in September and just ordered them last weekend, so you still have a little bit of time.

im gonna use s & s tuxedos in hicksville. my brother used them and so did my cousin. my other brother used to work there actually.

We're in Suffolk, but a lot of the guys are in Nassau. Just my brother and father are out of town.

We're probably going to really start thinking about this in the next couple of weeks just to have it out of the way, so thanks for the suggestion!!
