FH needs to get tuxes. Anyone have any rants or raves about local vendors? Not sure where to go. We're looking for pretty traditional black tuxes and we have a big bp. (8gm's, 1 RB, FH & our 2 dads)
How much do they cost to rent?

i remember someone told me its like $120 to rent! inc shoes .

i'm using the one in queens but i believe there is one on old country road. You can check out their website zeller tuxedo
YAY for WCC! they are having a showcase in feb! Also, expect some FM after ur wedding for a review!

YES!!!! We will be at the showcase in February...the 28th, right? Me, FH and both sets of our parents are going. That is going to serve as our food tasting.
I will be happy to dish out all the info in a review as soon as we get back from our HM. FYI, we went to a wedding there in September for one of FH's friends. Same room that we are using and everything (we're using the downstairs room with the outdoor cocktail hour). Everything ran smoothly, food was awesome. It was refreshing to get to have a test run before our own wedding day.

We are getting our from wedding world..they run like....$130 and up....ours are probobly gonna be about 160ish

We first went to Zellers but then went to Tuxedo Park in Carle Place....I loved it the minute I walked in the door. They are a little more expensive, but have such nice stuff. I also have a big bridal party, 9 guys, 2 ringbearers and 2 dads, plus my FH! They really worked with us and gave us a good price - plus, we got the nicest tuxes and the ties and vests are awesome!

we're using Zellers on Queens Blvd. The salesperson there was very attentive and efficient ( a plus since I hate shopping) They are a bit pricier but FH wanted a brown tux and they had one. The ones we're using are about $180 inc. shoes, tax etc.
Question for girls using other companies...do they all charge refundable group deposits?

I placed the order for the groomsmen tuxes with After Hours on Old Country Road. They were just purchased by Mens Wearhouse so they have a broader selection. FH is also getting his tux from there.

we are going to Men's Wearhouse tomorow night to see but does anyone know if its true that you can't try the tuxes on??
If that is the case, then we are going to Tux Park and/or Dante Zellers

FH and the guys went to Feldman Esquire in Lynbrook- I think he's paying $130 but it includes all the accessories.
I went there with him and they were nothing but courteous and helpful. I would recommend them and I think they are a LIW vendor too.

we went to tuxedo park and dante zeller. we're going to use dz because they had better prices and fh liked their brown tux better than the one at tp.
