Where I've been and what I've been up to!
For those who were looking for me or wondering what’s been up (Thanks for asking, you’re such sweeties) A detailed version is on 2004 Brides. Here’s the short version – believe it or not!
Ok, so I’ve been EXTRA busy. We were off work for RNC. Work from home if you live in Long Island. So I was home all of last week. SHOULD have been easy… but.
Basically:
Car died (took 3 days for repairs) Cost: $450 – actually more - I paid for spark plugs first
Enrolled in School
Got blood taken for tests (immunizations)
Got a shot! (wasn’t immune to Mumps)
Work remotely from home.
Screamed at Macy’s
Screamed at MOH (she’s still a no-show)
Drop off Jim’s car (lease was up)
Got stuck in traffic for 5 hours from Jersey City to Long Island
Drive Jim to and from work for 3 days (So not fun!)
Worked remotely from Jim’s office
Returned the plates, then drove to insurance company to make sure we get discount.
STUDY my butt off!
Got screen for wedding and side tables
Take the NY State Brokers License (pass)
Found a seamstress for the BM dresses
Go to English WHOOHOO – but had to drop it
Go to Math class (nice guy)
Got my College ID and dropped English
Dropped off my ring for repairs and bought a pair of shoes
Get calls from UK, Austria, Belgium on my phone (Cell) as IF I could just call them right back!?!
Client meetings and lunches as well.
I keep getting people thinking I was on VACATION last week!!!???! I’m so glad I dropped English. If all that happened while I was at HOME and not working (other than Wed – Friday this week) I can’t imagine what it can be like if I have another ‘tough week’.
