where should FH and I go on vacay? - updated!!

I suggested Key West to him or a cruise.

Bahamas are out b/c we might go there for HM.

Sandals Ocho Rios is out b/c we went there 2 yrs ago.

Give me some more Caribbean ideas please!!!! Not too much money please. Oh and we're going end of May or beginning of June.

OK, we're looking for all-inclusives!! All I can think of is Sandals.

Cabo San Lucas. It's beautiful and the weather is amazing (no humidity)

Jenn - check out Norweigan cruise lines. They cruise right out of Manhattan and go to the carribbean!!

I always liked cruises, just because everything is there for you and you don't have to think too much lol. It's also very affordable for what you get. What about St. Lucia? We went there and it was fabulous. Puerto Rico? Dominican Republic? Bermuda was close and nice but not on the cheap side.

Yes stay Medano Beach. Don't stay in San Jose del Cabo...it's 25 minutes from downtown Cabo. The first time I went we stayed there and it sucked taking the bus or cabs everywhere. The second time we stayed right on medano Beach (5 min cab ride to town) We stayed at Villa del Palmar. Villa La Estancia is right next door and there are a bunch more hotels right on the beach.

breezes is also all-inclusive and DR has a couple of all-inclusive resorts...I think my friend stayed at paradiso and it was all-inclusive

Go to Punta Cana in Dominican Republic. So many nice all inclusive hotels - Riu, Iberostar, Sunscape (where I got engaged!), Paradisus... so many all inclusive options.

Dominican is gorgeous and is probably the best priced Island vacation. I've been there 4 times because we kept getting awesome deals!!!!!

Coral Hamaca was my favorite hotel there, Coral Costa Caribe is also reallllly good, they're both in Santo Domingo!!!!!

*If you decide to go with DR definitely DON'T go to Breezes Puerto Plata...I had bugs in my bed and got bites all over my legs and everyone we went with had roaches in their room and someone had a maggot in their dinner

we're going on to Boca for a few days then a carribean cruise.

WE're honeymooning in June too (obvil) & thinking of a Sandals I'm interested in the bahama or St. Lucia, even Jamica,

Altho, FH is surprizing me, I'm giving him my request. I heard great things about this all- inclusive in Aruba I forgot the name, but I'll share once I remember

there are a TON of AI's in Mexico and DR. Go to expedia and click on vacations and then click on all inclusives and it will give you a list of them by island/region.

Are you thinking of the Riu, Occidental, or the divi?

I have heard/read good things about all of them!
