Where should I look for shoes??

Help me please.. I have gotten a few recco's.. but thought I'd post here. This is what I am looking for:

- Gold Satin
- About a 2' heel
- Open or Closed Toe- depends on the shoe
- Don't want to spend more than $150

Any ideas? Anyone seen anything out there..

Love My Shoes......they are a hit or miss but I would check them out since they do carry a variety of shoes.
You can also check Macy's. I purchased a pair there for a champagne dress and gold was an option to wear.

Craft Shoes had shoes like that when I was there.

My bridesmaids and I got ours at Sandy's Shoes in Massapequa. They had a good selection and pretty good prices.

There are a few stores on Main St. in Patchogue. I forget the name of the store where I got mine, but they had a great selection.

I have actually looked into this. There is a Capezio Dance store right near my office. I went months ago, but they do have a big selection. They are not the prettiest shoes but I am sure they are comfy. The sole is very lightweight, so I am not sure if you could wear them on a regular night afterwards. But a ton of them come in gold.

I went to Craft shoes in Commack. A lot of shoes, very pricey and they were a little rude as far as sales people. I am at the point where if you don't treat me respectfully, you won't get my business. There is another place for shoes in Carle Place... I know they advertise on News 12 and I cannot think of their name.

The shoe store in Patchogue is Casa Di Mario. The people there are ok. They do have a decent number of styles and I do remember seeing gold.

Good Luck. Let us know how you make out!

Ok, this is going to sound cheesy BUT... try Estelle's. I was there with my friend one day (she was looking for a dress for a wedding) and I happened upon their ENORMOUS shoe section. I wound up getting exact replicas of Vera Wangs that I'd been eyeing for $42 (the real ones were $255). They really have the biggest formal shoe selection I've seen.

Also try the old stand-bys - Bloomingdale's and Lord and Taylor.
