i'm looking to take my BM's dress shopping either in manhattan or long island. any suggestions?

the wedding center in commack has a huge selection - any idea what you are looking for? helen's in commack had a good selection too and the ladies there are very sweet.
Definitely hit RK Bridal - they have EVERYTHING! The best thing to do is to check out their website, and from there go to the individual designer's websites. Write down the style #'s of the dresses you are interested in, so that when you're in RK you can look for a specific dress, rather than just go through the racks without a clue (which is fine tho too!).

Had a great experience at RK bridal! Just one piece of advice- unless you already know what dress you want, don't buy immediately. Research the prices on the internet after you choose b/c they price match.

Don't know where you live, but We started out in Carle Place at Bridal Reflections, and then went to The Wedding Salon in Manhasset and then Bridal Couture of Manhasset. WE ended up getting our dresses there.

I would take them to Davids, this way they don't pay too much for a dress they'll never wear again. And then if you don't find anything there, then hit a bridal shop!

I second Helen's in Commack! We went to a bunch of stores and ended up ordering there because they gave us a good price and the services was so much better than the other places we tried.

My sis bout her dress at Bridal Reflections in Massapequa. I got my gown there and so did my FMIL. Have not run into any problems.

i live in westchester, but my FH and many of my bridesmaids live in valley stream and surrounding area. not very familiar with long island yet, but where is commack? i know baldwin is pretty close.

Bridal Suite in Centereach has a HUUUGE selection....although i didn't order from there...i found the BM dresses there but ordered them from Fantasia in Rocky Point.

We ordered from Helen's in Commack, great service and price so I'd def recommend. You can also look at Macy's in Lake Grove (Smithaven Mall), Bridal Suite of Bayshore, and Paradise Bridal in Patchogue for a good selection.

We went to Jenny Yoo collection in Manhattan and had the BEST experience. the dresses are gorgeous, my girls are thrilled and they came in quickly and easliy and the girls could take the dresses wherever they wanted for alterations which they appreciated.
