I have a couple of choices 1.) a long table with B and G and party on either side 2.) Band G table separate and 2 Party tables so they can sit with their guest. Is 2.) better? I hated being at the date table by myself. Any suggestions?

Re: Where should the briadal party it?
I would say put the bridal party at a seperate table with their guests if you can. I was in a wedding where my fiance had to sit far away - he knew some of my friends who were at the table but it was still weird for him. And I didn't really know the rest of the bridal party that well so I felt awkward too. I spent most of the time hanging out at his table anyway.
and then putting the BP at tables where they would be if they were not BP...where they are most comfortable...

I'm having them sit with their dates. They want to be comfortable and enjoy themselves. I don't like when they are seperated because if their dates don't know anyone, they would feel really uncomfortable. I don't think people have a seperate table anymore for the bridal party.

We're doing Bride and Groom alone, and then parents, etc. at one table on one side, and then the bridal party on the other.

I think my FH and I will sit and one table and have the bridal party and each of their dates at a separate one.
