where should the in-laws stay???

where should the in-laws stay???

so my future in-laws will be traveling from the west coast for the wedding. they'd like to stay in NY for a week or two.

does anyone know of any nice extended stay types of hotels?? preferably in suffolk on the north shore
or....this is a long shot...do you think it's possible for them to rent a house somewhere??? the only areas I can think of for that are montauk or the hamptons and they are too far :(.

It's expensive but the only one I can think of off the top of my head right now is Danfords Inn, Pt. Jeff

they actually just opened that extended stay hampton inn next to island 16 movie theatre off exit 62

maybe a B&B (it would probably get pricey, but it's cozier than a hotel). there is some scattered along the north shore, western suffolk area.

in terms of the house rentals....definitely try a search on the net. i found a short-term rental in Centerport on the water (FMIL wanted to take this route originally), but the owner never called or emailed me back maybe you'll have better luck.
