I am so frustrated, I can look at places from sun-up til sun-down and i still cant decide. I keep looking at sandals b/c i would like to stay at an all-inclusive resort. Is anyone else staying at sandals resorts? Is Jamaica a good place to go, is it safe? What about the Grand royal bahamian resort? Any input would be helpful... Thanks
I would start with a budget in mind because if I could go anywhere in the world it would be Tahiti/Figi but its a wee bit expensive.

Thats my dream spot too, but i dont want to be traveling for two days there and two days back, i really would like the shortest flight possible. My goal is about 3,000.

I had a friend who just came back from her honeymoon cruise to Alaska. She said it was amazing! She loved it.

I am going to be staying at Sandals Whitehouse in Jamaica. I've never heard of people having problems with Jamaica being unsafe unless they walk far away from their hotels. We'll have no reason to leave our hotel though, so I know we won't have a problem.

Yep, we're staying there too. I've had a lot of friends go there too and have not had a single problem, they just say to stay within the resort adn you'll be fine. It's just like a lot of the economically disadvantaged places, you should be fine.

Definitely play around with www.discount-all-inclusive.com to get an idea of what you can afford and where you can go. Once you narrow it down to a specific property, go to www.tripadvisor.com for reviews.
I love the place we're going to Royal Hideaway and it's all inclusive.

I would look into Mayan Riviera. There are alot of adult only all-inclusives that have amazing food and beaches and are not Sandals resorts.
For example: El Dorado Seaside Suites Xpu-ha Palace
are both in your price range.

We're staying at the El Dorado Royale in Mexico.....It's adults only all inclusive....I was looking into Jamaica, but we wanted to be able to do stuff outside of the resort, and Jamaica doesnt really offer that. Although I do hear Jamaica is beautiful and I have not heard a bad thing about Sandals...from what I hear, you don't even need to leave the resort for anything.... there are so many choices - def check out www.discount-all-inclusive.com - we booked through them and got a good deal

TRUST ME, I KNOW! We have changed our HM location like 100 times, even booked and changed. Look at all the major websites, look at Tripadvisor.com.
I could be a travel agent right now, I know so much about locations/resorts.
Make a list of WANTS ..seperate it to ABSOULTLY and ' could live without'.. Like Must be the beach , want balcony, but could live without And things you DONT care about.

$3000?? Thats gonna be hard, we had that budget too and it was rough to work with. Like some girls mentioned, look at KArissa resorts..El Dorado resorts, they are all inclusive and look amazing.
We could NOT do Aruba for less then $4000 at a crappy hotel.
We are going to the Radisson Cable beach for 7 days, 6 nights for $2300...To give you an idea of price.
Your best bets are Mexico ( riveria Maya, Cancun, Alcupalco being the cheapest) , The BAhamas, Jamaca or DR for that price.
