Where the heck do we seat my photographer?
I'm assuming at a table with guests? ...she has an assistant, too...weird! Who do I put them with?!

Your photographer doesn't get a seat. He/She should be working the whole night. The RH provides a place for them to quickly eat away from your guests. Unless they are a friend or family member then you can sit them where you feel appropriate.
You should have a vendor table. It is usually off to the side, or maybe in the cocktail hour room. The dj, photog, & videographer and whatever other vendors all sit together. They should be given a meal.
At the Jericho Terrace, my BM told me that the vendors sit in a totally different room. He said it would probably be at a table in the room where my cocktail hour was being held.
i would call your RH and ask them where they normally sit, but they should be off to the side or in another room.
Several of my friends have had the photographer sit with them! Our wedding is small - 50ish people - so I don't know if that makes a difference. I thought it would be weird that they sat away from the guests...what do you guys think? Still seat them away from the guests? Thank you!
MY RH HAS A SEPARATE AREA FOR THEM TO EAT
There should be a table set aside for vendors......I paid 40 each for my vendors to eat..They need food too.....
Your vendors eat in a separate area usually like a kitchen or an office or lunchroom.
They should be working, not sitting and eating. My RH will set them up in the cocktail hour room. They should quickly eat and go back to work
I know that there should definitely be a place for them to sit and eat and Swan Club charges half the price per person for the vendors. Some vendors are working with you all day, from the time you start and they will definitely need some time to eat.
Your vendors should not be sitting with your guests. My RH had a separate room for them to eat in. If I remember correctly my contract said I have to provide a meal for my photographers and they are allowed 15 mins to eat.
I'm having 1 table for my DJ/Videographer/photographer to eat. They are gonna sit right next to the DJ booth.
Your RH should have a designated space or table for vendors.
I agree def. a separate area... it would be weird for a stranger to be seated at the tables with my guests.
If you don't have an empty table available, seat them at an odd number table with co-workers or distant relatives. Your photographer will be working most of the night. To be honest, the only time that she will be seated with her assistant is during a break. Generally, photographers are allowed btwn 30-60 min.. break, depending on your wedding needs so they can brush up and eat, etc.
