I lost my freakin' passport after my trip to China.
I need to get a new one before the honeymoon, but I'm not chancing it not coming on time. I hear the delays are taking up to 14 weeks to process applications.
Last time, I got my passport same day... but I also hear there are other expedited options. Where do I go to get an expedited passport? I'm not worried about paying more.

I did mine through the post office. They can give you the names of places where you can expedite it or they might be able to handle it themselves-not sure. But check their first: a big branch, not our little local one.
If I use the expedited service through the USPS, any idea how long that will take?? Is 4 weeks accurate? I could live with that...

You can expedite it the same places you apply normally. Post office, etc.

Thanks! I work in midtown Manhattan and there's a big post office on 42nd street... hopefully they can help me there!

Yep Id check there-I went to the one in the low 50s on third Ave. Its on the side of it. I also posted links to sites-edited my original post.

I do mine through the post office. i expedited mine last year and it came within 2 weeks. really fast.

Make sure you call first. I work by the huge post office on 34th st and they don't do passports. They sent me to some hole in the wall post office that did it.

Yea the one I went to does it but its a seperate office right around the corner. Its right by the CITICORP building--across the street. The main post office si there but you walk to the end of he block then turn and walk down a bit. there's a door there and in that office is where they handle the legal documents. I'd call to get the schedule.

I go to the passport agency to get it the same day. Don't know if you want to do that. Just call up and they will give you an appointment which usually takes up to 2 weeks to get the appointment and then go that day, will take a few hours but you do get it the same day.
