can you guys recommend a good place to take my BMs shopping for their gowns? something reasonably priced? thanks!

I would say to check Davids first see if you can find something there. They are inexpensive, and nice for your BP to not have to spend so much $$ on a dress they will never wear again. Good Luck

Lillette's in Baldwin Renate's in Lindenhurst great service, good selection!
You can always shop at places that have a selection- and then get Phyllis at Bridal Elegance to give you a quote- you'd save a lot of $$ that way!

First, find the dresses you like
and then find out which store carry the dresses (go to their web site and see dealer locations)
make appointments
and last, go try them on.

Definately find a style you like and then call Burton's in Melville to see if they carry it...the showroom is really teeny but they had amazing prices on the Bill Levkoff 966... HTH and good luck!

i second David's as a starting point. they have some nice dresses right now, and the prices are very reasonable. the good thing is that they have dresses in a wide range of sizes, so your girls can all try them on together just to get an idea of what looks good.
Helen's in Commack! We looked at a lot of places and the service was the best there. They gave us a discount on the gowns and they came in early! No experience with alterations yet so I can't help there.

We went to see Phyllis at Bridal Elegance in Dix Hills. She was great and it was the lowest price I could find....

We went through David's Bridal. Their service isn't the best, but they had a huge selection & lots of sizes for the girls to try on. They even found more than one dress that they all liked.

Another vote for Lillette's in Baldwin. They have a really big selection and I've had a great experience there so far. (Purchased my gown, BM dresses, and veil there!)
