where to buy stones ?

I want to make a necklace or bracelet. Does anyone know a where I can buy moonstone and rose quartz? I know it is an odd question but I have no idea where to even look. Everyone I ask just gives me a weird look . Thanks for any help you can offer .

I would look on ebay as well. A lot of sellers have their own store; I've actually just purchased a set of moonstone earrings. Maybe you can find loose stones on there.

Have you tried www.artbeads.com? My aunt makes jewelry and buys alot of her stuff from there. And thats where I ordered my rhinestones from...they had the best prices and delivery was pretty quick.

I don't know if you live or work in the city but the fashion district would be a great place to look. A friend of mine makes her own jewelry and she goes there. And you can shop around for prices.
