where to do a WINTER wedding??
Hi!!I recently got engaged and my fiance and I are thinking of having a romantic winter wedding! I really havent been to many weddings on Long Island and need some recommendations at where would be a nice place to have a winter wedding. We are looking for something warm, cozy, good food and that preferably has a fireplace. (150-170ppl) Any recommendations??
Thanks!

Re: where to do a WINTER wedding??
Westbury manor or fox hollow both have very 'cozy' feelings.

Woodlands!!old-fashioned mansion with a romantic feel, beautiful grounds, and fireplaces in the main lobby and cocktail hour room. The food is great and they will def accomodate the amt of people you are looking to have.

Re: where to do a WINTER wedding??
people are probably getting tired of me always recommending my hall, but I can't help it. lol. I was such a satisfied customer
Pine Hollow Inn was awesome for my Christmas Wedding. It's a very cozy place which holds only one wedding at a time (i'm not completely sure on how many people they can hold, so you'd have to ask). It's got a sitting room that looks like an old fashioned library with a fireplace. There's also one within the hall itself. Me & DH's table was seated in front of it.
you can check out my review though if you want, I wrote more about the place in detail over there.

Check out Timber Point Country Club. It has a very welcoming, cozy feel to it, as well as 2 fireplaces. We had our reception there and could not have been happier with everything.

Re: where to do a WINTER wedding??
I agree re: Timber Point. We looked there, definitely cozy. We ultimately booked at East Wind (the Estate). Also cozy, fireplace, etc. Recommend that you look at both. Timber Point much more reasonably priced.

Fox Hollows winter garden pavilion room looks so romantic and cozy. Also, Coral Houses nantucket deck room has a very intimate feel, which is one of the reasons I chose it.

The Inn at New Hyde Park is beautiful.. we are getting married there this winter. They have a beautiful fireplace and a really cozy feel. Also, on the 2nd they will still have their holiday decorations up - which are gorgeous!
Good luck!

Re: where to do a WINTER wedding??
I'm doing a winter wonderland themed wedding at The Royalton. There are multiple fireplaces all over the place. The reception room has 2 fireplaces in it and the CH room has a fire place too.the walls are all white and the floors are all hardwood which i love! We are doing blue uplighting and having all white CP's and this place works PERFECTLY for that look!
I would def check it out!

Re: where to do a WINTER wedding??
My aunt was married last January at the East Wind. It was a beautiful winter wedding. They have a huge Christmas tree and the place looks so nice all decorated. I am getting married at the Chateau La Mer in May but when I was doing my research I came across a lot of pictures of CLM all decorated for Christmas. It looked really pretty also. Its on the water and with the lights on the dock reflecting off the water makes for a beautiful scene.Welcome New Vendors
