where to find fabric for best price?? (xpost bhb)

One of my BM is offering to make something for me....i just need to pick out the fabric and send it to her (she is OOT)

Soo...where is the best place to get affordable fabric? I would need about 30 yards or so...

in the city! if not maybe Joann's Fabric (they actually take AC Moore and Michael's coupons)

The city has some really good deals...can never remember exactly what streets it is...somewhere by 36-38th streets btw 6th and 7th ave. I need to go also...if i go sometime soon i will let you know.

also, have you ever shopped on jamaica ave? Right before the actually shopping area...about one block east from the block where conways and marshalls are (170th st ?)....there's about 4 fabric stores. They have great prices!!

I would definitely recommend Joann in Staten Island. I've ordered fabric from Joann online and it was pretty reasonably priced and it was exactly what I wanted.

Or around 34th Street, they have all the wholesale stores.
