Do I buy it at the store in which I got my dress..or can I go to another store to buy it? (I need a slip that is made for a full skirt gown)
I bought mine on ebay, but you can also buy them at the bridal salon
I just had this same problem! The store wanted to charge me a crazy amount of money for a slip. My friend recommended ebay and I found the same exact slip there for $25!!! I have heard (not sure if it is true) that some places won't alter your slip if you didn't buy it from them. My advice would be to take the slip to any dry cleaner/tailor to alter it before your dress fitting.
I got mine on ebay too. It was $25 including shipping. I don't think mine even needs to be altered and it looks great under the dress!

Can anyone recommend a good ebay vendor? does it say specifically if its made for an a-line dress or a ball-gown (which is what I need!)
Or maybe you can borrow one from a friend. My FSIL gave me her slip that I may use.
