So time is coming pretty close and I still do not have a veil. I am looking for a 2 tiered veil that goes down to my wrist in white and with swarovsi crystal edging...anyone have any idea where to find this??? They have it in the bridal shop where I got my dress and also at Tri-county but they are both more than I wanted to spend...any suggestions??? TIA

Re: Where to get a veil
It will cost you a pretty penny but Nelson d'Leon has loads of gorgeous ones just like that. You can buy their stuff at places like Kleinfelds, Saks etc or just make an appointment for a consultation in the salon in Manhattan.

Not sure about how much you are looking to spend or how far you are looking to travel but Bridal Styles is amazing. They even dye the veil if your dress is not stark white. I bought mine there and they do not need alot of time. They even know how to fit you for a veil which sounds silly but I thought I wanted my veil at my hips but they told me to drop it a little lower so there is a flow between my veil and my dress. They also added a detachable blusher. I hope this helps.

Hey!!!!
Did you try Barons. I never thought that I would go there but they have most of what the other stores have. Depending upon the veil that you are looking for they do have comparable prices to the amount that you mentioned. They also take it up it is seems to long. Its a hike, but i found me veil there so it was worth it for me.
PS 3 more days!!!!!

I went to Barrons at Tri-County. I think it's booth A4. I brought pics of my dress, my dress swatch, and my hair trial pics and they helped me figure out what would look flattering. Mr. Karen is very creative and really knows his stuff. I ended up spending more than I thought I would but still hundreds less than what I saw in my bridal salon. I also got a headband from them (not into tiaras-- my headband is perfect) If Barron's is out of your budget, I would suggest Ebay. Lots of brides have found their veils there and they are perfectly fine
Good Luck!!!!!!

Re: Where to get a veil
What is driving up the cost of your veil is the type of crystal. $165 with crystals isn't a lot. If you are willing to go for imitation crystals the price will probably come down.

Re: Where to get a veil
I bought my short veil on Ebay, and my cathedral custom veil from Kathy Occasney- I found her from a few other LIW brides.
