Where to get a wedding gown????

I was planning on going to the wedding center in Commack on Saturday but I just read that everyone is so rude there. Originally I wanted to go to Bridal reflections but I know that they are a little high end and I don't want to try on a dress for 5k and have to have it!!!!! Any help??????

Two places I would recommend and know have good reps:

Macy's Bridal in the Smithhaven Mall - be sure to call for an appt

Burton's Bridal in Huntington near the Mall (same as the florist, but up stairs) They are known to get you any dress you like for less $

Best of luck, I am using Macy's Bridal and so far have had great experience.

Estelle's in Melville actually carries a lot of designers like Maggie S and others and I went to REnate's in Lindenhurst tonight ( she said nothing over $1000 in the store) and out of 8 pictures I brought, they had 7 of the dresses there....I liked it there a lot!

I went to Bridal Reflections, and you are right the prices are a bit high and you can't pick out the gowns. The girl brings them up from downstairs. I went and got my dress from the Bridal Suite in Centereach. Ask for Beverly she is awesome. Good Luck.

lidias in copiague. i got my bm dresses there and they have been great. bridal reflectons is a bit higher priced but i love them they really helped me out when i thought i was in serious trouble and about not to have a wedding dress. they have been so good to me. they even hugged and kissed me when they knew about my problem. i tried on some dresses at paradise bridal too when i was looking, they were good and reasonably priced. i dont know how they are once your gown is ordered because i didnt use them

RK Bridal in the city has a huge selection adn tehy are not as horrible as people make them out to be. They just have 'city mentality' so they are not the nicest people but the selction of gowns is worth it.

I went to David's Bridal in Carle Place. I had a lot of problems with them but there gowns were afordable.

I have heard of brides going to another David's Bridal in NJ I think and they didn't seem to have the problems I did.
