Im buying a bridesmaids dress from Davids Bridal, but alterations there is expensive. Anyone know where I can get alterations done instead??

Ive always gone to my local tailor/dry cleaner to get alterations done... its never cost me more than about $30

There's a great place in Valley Stream right by Franklin General Hospital. The seamstress is amazing. FM me if you want more info.

My local cleaners has a tailor that charges $35 for hemming and alterations. She's a really sweet lady that does excellent work. It's by 63rd Drive Rego Park. If you need the address, FM me.

Thank you girls for you replies, but Id probably need something in Valley Stream, Lynbrook, Rockville Center area b/c Deer Park would be too much of a drive for me. Do you ladies know anyone else in this area for alterations by any chance? TIA
