My engagement ring was done at macy's in the city. We want to get our weddinging bands appriased this saturday. We were going to back to macy's but have other stuff to get done in nassau (We live in CT now). Does anyone know a good place to get the appriasals so we don't have to drink all over the place this weekend.

We went to the Jewlery Judge in Garden city (maybe it is stil mineola over there). They did a very throrough job on a few of my pieces.

I got my ring appraised for insurance purposes at Harstons in the trumbull mall (IN CT)- he was thorough and helpful- did it for free- i didnt have an appt- but he said i should have OH well they took me anyway good luck

We used Deborah Ann Villepigue, she's a vendor on here & truly knows her stuff. She used to be with the Jewelry Judge, but now has her own practice. She sometimes works for CSI. She spent over an hour with us & took great pics of the ring too. I'd HIGHLY recommend her. She's on Northern Blvd. close to the Miracle Mile.

I recommend the jewerly judge on old country road in garden city - they do not sell jewerly so you will get a very accurate non inflated appraisal. They also take photos which are actually put on the appraisal
