Can anyone recommend where I could get pretty but inexpensive jewelry for my daughter (13 years old) who is my maid of honor. I also want to get a necklace for my mother - but I dont want to break the bank. My mom is not a jewelry person so she will probably never wear it again (although I guess she could just give it to me after LOL) I'm looking for colored stones (dont have to be real) with silver or white gold. Store or website would be fine...

you can find pretty, costume jewelry at macy's for good prices...plus, sometimes they have coupons.

I let them pick it out. It's really hard to get everyone to agree on liking the same thing (they all have very different styles (NY, Miami, San Francisco, etc.)) and if they're already going to look the same with dresses, shoes, etc. I didn't want them to be totally cookie cutter.

I'm getting mine at Tri-County
There's a great silver stand on the first floor that has really nice ctuff and aren't too expensive. I don't know if silver is the way you want to go btu tri county has a lot of good stuff.
FYI: The whole upstairs section is all jewelry

I second Kohls! I got my girls their necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pocketbooks when they had a sale. I also got my nieces silver necklaces from Kohls - it's hard to get 'kid jewelry' that's not expensive, especially when you know they may lose or break it.
