Where is the best place to shop for day of under garments?
I need something that keeps my tummy flat and my chest lifted?
Can anyone recommend brands as well? I am totally clueless when it come to these thing!

There is a great place in Queens recommended by where I got my dress. I can't find the name of it now but I will send you an FM when I get it. Probably tomorrow

I'm sort of clueless too.... but I did find out a few bits... I'm a budget bride, so I try to stick to online stuff, rather than custom. There is a company called Spanx that makes really versitile spandex-like objects. Many brides love them.
On the flip side, if your dress is like mine.... strapless and a giant tent below the waist, a corset may be better.... not to mention romantic. I bought mine on the fredericks of hollywood site. If you're worried about a perfect fit, just get one with laces in the back. That leaves a bit of adjustment room.
Just make sure to keep in mind how low the dress plunges.... especially in the back, and buy accordingly! I hope this helps....

Blum's (out east..i forget where) is a good place
Georgette's in Hicksville, is supposed to be a great place. friend of mine got her undergarments from there for her dress.
