where to get/or how to make this CP??

i saw it at the bridal extravaganza a few weeks back - snapped a terrible cell phone pic even though i wasnt supposed to i also saw a similar one at the bridal show at glen cove mansion.
anyway i havent hired a florist yet because i work for a large flower company and was hoping they could do this for me. however im not sure how it is made.
anyone know who the florist is that makes this or how one would go about making this? i am sure that it is a square vase with an LED light inside and another vase inside holding the flowers. i dont know what material the pics are printed on. if anyone knows who makes it i might just get my CP's from them and have my company do the rest of the flowers...any suggestions??

I saw this at the bridal extravaganza and LOVED it!!!! I asked the lady about it and she said that the pictures are printed on some high quality see through paper - but not vellum (although I think it can be done with vellum.

It's wrapped around a square vase and taped to it (which is the only thing I wasn't so thrilled with) and yeah the flowers are in a separate vase inside of the square vase. You basically got the gist of it correctly. Flowers in vase, inside of a square vase with LED light inside that doesn't get hot, and the printed pics go around on the outside of the square vase.

Good luck! They were very pricey and the lady said that people couldn't take the square vases home, just the flowers in the vase inside, so the pictures could be removed from the square vase... if you have them made elsewhere, maybe you can have it where people can actually take it all home which would be very cool.

does anyone remember which florist it was that made these?
i might get my CPs from them and then get the rest of the flowers from my company that way i can have the best of both worlds.

I did table number votives and they had a similar effect. I agree with MrsQ above that you can totally make the bottom part yourself w/vellum and place a tea light inside and have a propped up vase separate for the roses.

I would recm'd buying 6x6 square vases - printing up the vellum and putting a tea-light inside (it'll last for four/five hours) and then getting a platform ring that will hold the roses - maybe putting it in the foam that florists use?
