Where to go dress shopping

Tried searching for a post but had no luck. I am going dress shopping in two weeks and would like your recommendations of where to go. I will be going during the week. I want to look in Suffolk and Nassau county for now. This will be my first attempt to try on dresses. thanks!

Oh and I prefer not to go to DB.

HELENS'S BRIDAL has excellent service. They don't have a HUGE selection of dresses, but enough for you as a starting point. The inside isn't as nice as some places I've been to, but like i said...great service. Ask for Ashley. She is really sweet and very accommodating.
I went to LILLETES and was very dissatisfied with the service. The lady kept leaving because other employees needed her. The store was very dumpy, too.
I also went to the BRIDAL SUITE...it was okay. I didn't like the fact that they asked me to go looking for my own dresses. Then, they didnt even help me put on the dress. When I came out of the room, they were all the way at the end of the store. The store was very clean, though.
BRIDAL REFLECTIONS in Carle Place has phenomenal service. I had two consultants in my dressing room helping me. The seamstress even came out and told me what alterations she could make so the dress was perfect for me. Unfortunately, it was a little too pricey for me.
BRIDAL REFLECTIONS in Massapequa had great service, but not as good as the one in Carle Place...great prices, though.

I went to bridal suite in centereach. I've been a bm several times and somehow always got my dresses through there. I've never had a problem!

Try the Macy's Bridal Salon in the Smith Haven Mall. That's where I found my dress. They have Demetrios gowns, which are really beautiful. Good luck!

I would def check out Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and Paradise Bridal in Patchogue....if you make your way into the city def look at Kleinfelds. I loved it there

Burtons and Bridal Elegance gave me the best prices around for my gown... goin with burtons though bc their alts are very cheap!

I got mine at bridal couture its a few blocks away and you can go to macys bridal salon too its close as well.

anywhere listed as a certified shop for designers you like.

I don't recommend buying a dress at Bridal Suite Bayshore

Definitely check out Village Bridal in Babylon. I just got my dress from there last weekend!! Its a nice new store and they just got in a bunch of new dresses.
