Thanks girls!!! My mom and I are planning to check out some venues tomorrow. I'd like to stop and try on some dresses as well. Omg the first wedding dress I've ever tried on- exciting.

Rk bridal in Manhattan had 100s of dresses u can buy off the rack....26th only 5 months u would save on a rush order! Just an fyi

I only went to one place so far and had a great experience so I'd definitely recommend Bridal Suite of Bay Shore

My only advice would be don't wait!! With only five months out, you're already going to need to put a rush on it.

Kleinfelds for sure! I had such a great experience there, and their customer service is excellent. There was no question too silly or too small to ask, and every email and phone call was always met with a cheery person on the other end. I've had to hold production on my dress several times bc I couldn't decide on ivory or white. They were nothing but patient and called the designer to mail me swatches which I got the next day to save me a trip to the city. :)

NY Bridal Outlet in Farmingdale! They are the sister store to Village Bridal in Babylon. They have a ton of off the rack dresses as well as ones to order. They also cap alterations at $250 which is pretty awesome!

David's Bridal. We got my dress & shoes, the bridesmaid dresses and most of their shoes, and the Mother of the Bride dress there.

I got mine at the Commack Bridal Center and I am really happy with my dress, but the owner is kind of used car seller sketchy. What I liked best about this place was that you can go through the racks and pick out what you want to try on which I didn't see at a lot of other places. I went to davids bridal and I choose a few styles from a book, and at kleinfelds I told them the style that I was looking for (Which the saleswoman told me wouldn't look good on me and didn't bring me anything like it) and then they just brought my dresses. Commack Bridal Center was the only place where I felt like I was in control and could try on different styles to see what looked best.
