DH has 2 vacation days he needs to use before August 20th. So, we are taking Thursday and Friday off and going somewhere for a 4 day weekend. The question is: Where?
Any recommendations on a place within driving distance where we can sit by the beach/ pool, eat seafood and just relax? TIA!

i would definitely recommend martha's vineyard. it is so relaxing, great seafood & beaches, and wonderful B&B's!

Every August my sisters and I used to drive to Ocean City Maryland for a long weekend. It was great. Hotel on the beach, the boardwalk, great seafood, we'd just relax and hang out. I definitely recommend there.

Cape May, NJ is supposed to be very nice, with some great B&Bs.
