Where To Go For Wedding Shoes

Where To Go For Wedding Shoes

Where do you get nice, COMFORTABLE reasonably priced shoes for the bride? I'm clueless-also, are any of you getting slippers?

I don't know about reasonably priced, but I found a HUGE selection of shoes at Casa D'Mario in Patchogue. I purchased a pair of platform flipflops for when my feet hurt during the reception and they definitely came in handy. I'm short, so I needed the platforms for height reasons. If I could have gotten away with comfy slippers, I would have, but I would have tripped all over my dress.
My shoes were $66, which included dying them ivory.

I went to both DSWs on LI - they both have a nice selection to choose from...from Dyeable's to Kenneth Cole to Stuart Weitzman.

ETA: My shoes (Stuart Weitzman's) were $70 at the DSW in Suffolk (Dix Hills?).

Maybe try Estelle's Dressy Dresses on 110.

I got mine at Rhea Nichols in Rockville Centre. They were about $60. Very comfortable and they put some padding in them to make them even more comfy!

i got mine at Sandy's in Massapequa - i think i spent about $60.

i wanted to do the slipper idea, but i can't go from a 3' heel to slippers - my dress will be all over the floor. i think slippers will only work if you have a very small heel to begin with - or wear the slippers the whole time

I bought platform sandals, so my dress wouldn't be soooo long, at 5-7-9 in the mall very cheap. I was on my way to get them at Steve Madden and I say cheaper ones in the window of 5-7-9.
