hey there everyone.. Im a little concerned about traveling to the Caribbean during hurricane season.. We are looking into Tahiti & Bora Bora but I was wondering if anyone had other suggestions???

September is hard because it is hurricane season...how about Europe?...or a Mediterranean cruise? The weather will be perfect at that time.

You can try Curacao or Aruba since they are below the Hurricane belt. You can also try Hawaii (that's where I am going). I am sure there are tns of other places too.

We are going to Curacao and everytime we tell someone .. they rave about it! Either there or Aruba. You can go to Europe also.

We are going to Barbados in September, we bought insurance just in case, and we also researched on it and found out that Barbados is amongst a few island in the caribbean to get the least rainfall during the hurricane season, and the chances of a hurricane are very little.. if it rains, it will rain for a few minutes and then it'll get back to normal...another good island is Aruba...this is what I read.... Sandals has hurricane insurance. I know it's hurricane season, but at least you know you're insured.

We went to the Greek islands at the end of September. The weather was wonderful and it was less crowded than the summer.

You might want to look into the west coast of Mexico like Puerto Vallarta and Acapulco...they're much less susceptible to hurricanes, most of which originate on the east coast and by the time they reach the west coast they taper off dramatically
