So we booked a 7 day cruise on a new ship with celebirty and we def love cruises since this makes sence for us, FH dosen't drink, swim, dance, so this kinda makes sence more then an all inclussive but now im feeling like i want to do more. I feel like i can go on a 7 day cruise anytime. I want our honeymoon to be special, i was thinkin of adding a few days to disney since cruise leaves out of florida, but that will add up quick with transportation, passes, and food. So i was wondering what everyone else is doing and how much it;s costing, i'm so open to suggestions. HELP?

Check out Costa Rica. Our travel agent showed us a package through a tour company. The package we are considering is about $5,000 (including airfare, hotel, connecting flights to get from one area of CR to another) for 8 nights. I'm sure there are other less expensive options too. There are some activities are also included, others we are paying for. We like more action vs. laying on a beach all day. However, if you like the beach, it's there too! Be careful of when you plan on going! Good luck!

What does your husband like to do? Punta Cana was pretty inexpensive, I think 1600 pp, but you cannot go off the hotel premises b/c the island is not safe. I'm not sure how much Aruba is, but they say it never rains there and there are many things to do. Bermuda is also a beautiful island, yet very close. My aunt has traveled to just about every island, and she still loves Bermuda the most. She says the water is prettier than Hawaii.

You should try looking into the Couples Resorts in Jamaica. MY Fh and I have been to Couples San Saouci and Couples Ocho Rios and we had a great time. We were there for a week and it was not that expensive. Good Luck!

FH would enjoy learning the culture of an area, sightseeing and i love swiming, and being active i have done club med before not with FH and i love the water sports, we both like the spa scence but not laying on a beach, i can't sit still i get bored. We prob both for our honeymoon like to be catered to for just one week lol, im sure we all do. I did mention to FH maybe we could rent an RV(HE LOVES RV'S im not sure why) and do a road trip down to florida beofre the cruise cause we have the time before and he actually loved this idea, but again i feel like its a lot to rent one, when we can fly and stay in a nice hotel.

We booked Excellence Punta Cana and got a complimentary honeymoon upgrade (It comes with romantic dinner, rose petals in tub, wine, breakfast in bed, etc). We got the honeymoon suite with private balcony and outside jacuzi for under 2500 but this does not include airfare since that is not available for our date yet.

look into Sandals. St Lucia is beautiful. Dominican Republic has prices that are under 4k also

I am actually cruising out of Port Canaveral so I am doing 4 days in Disney (Polynesian) and then taking the 7 day cruise. I don't know if it will stay in your budget but its def doing 2 different types of things...FM me if you want more info.

Mexico is comparitively inexpensive... we have 7 nights at the Excellence Playa Mujeres for $4000 and change... all inclusive and our room is a 2 story rooftop terrace. If you get a standard room it will be much lower!
