I am in the process of planning our e-party but I don't know where to have it! Who had it at a hall? Or a restaurant? Did you have a buffet? A DJ? What was it like? What was your theme?
Sorry so many questions! TIA

Re: Where to have E-party???
i didn't really want one but my mom wanted to give us one so i insisted on no hall, no dj, etc. we had ours at a restaurant, about 75 ppl, $35 a person. great food, and people really seemed to enjoy everything

Re: Where to have E-party???
we just had ours at the West Sayville Country club...we did a beach theme with lemons and limes in hurricanes and shells on the tables. No Dj.. we hired a friend to play acoustic guitar and it was great. My pics are in album.

Re: Where to have E-party???
We had ours at Mim's in Roslyn Heights (they also have a location in Syosset). Its a restaurant, but they hold parties during hours they aren't open to the public.
It was a Buffet Brunch, and was mostly family invited with a few close friends. We didn't feel the need to have music, it was just a chance for everyone to see one another and catch up for a couple of hours.
My biggest goal was to introduce the 2 families, I have a HUGE family and FH's family is very small. I didn't want the shower or wedding to be the first time my FILs met the rest of my family.
