Where to have Rehersal Dinner in Smithtown or Northport??????????
Any suggestions? My FH's family is paying for this and both of our parents live in Smithtown but the rehersal will be in Northport (St. Philip Neri Church).
I'm confused ...where should we have it...Smithtown or Northport or somewhere in between????
Any suggestions for a nice restarant with a private party area?????????????
I love La Famiglia but that place is always crazy packed!

My sister had hers at Nocello's in Northport and my friend had hers at Polini's in Smithtown. Also, there is a great restaraunt in St. James (not far from Smithtown at all) called Bella Vita. They have great food.

Mine was @ Nocello's in Northport. It was great! The food is fantastic.

In Northport, there's Nocello's which has already been suggested, Smitty's Corner House, Glad's on the Golf Course, and we're actually having ours at La Casa at Crab Meadow beach. Unfortunately they don't have a private room, but it's $25 for an appetizer, salad bar, choice of 3 entrees, cake, coffee, tea and soda. Ours is on a Thursday night, so we don't expect too many other diners there...and their portions are TREMENDOUS! Of course, they are a seasonal place, so it depends on the time of year for which you are looking. Good Luck! FM if you'd like more info.

it closed in Smithtown! It's now Anna Maria's (formerly in Kings Park.) Did it reopen elsewhere?

i love la famiglia- they have a side room, they wont close it but if people see a LARGE party most likely they will not sit there- thats what i was told..check it out

I'd try to have it as close to the rehearsal sight as possible especially if there are people who are traveling and they are not familiar with the area. What if they get lost? Are late? etc.
I always a bit nervous when I have to drive in unfamiliar surroundings and have a time where I must be somewhere.
I'm having mine at Nocello's. Actually a brunch.

We're having my friend's rehearsal dinner at Nocello's but I've never actually been there so don't know much about it.

I just had my shower at Garden Grill in Smithtown- food was really good and they did a good job.
