Im going to start looking with my friends for BM dresses in the next couple of weeks so I was wondering which of these shops you would recommend. I live north shore suffolk county, so thats why I chose these that are fairly close by. I am curious about their service as well as their selection of dresses. I know you can find out which designers they carry, but did they have ALL of the ones you were looking for? most? just a few? Also, do any of them offer discounts if you buy a certain # of dresses, like 10% off each if you buy 5 dresses. Do I need to make appointments if we're looking for BM dresses or can we just help ourselves? Thank you!!

Re: Where to look for BM dresses?
You don't need an appointment to look at BM dresses at Bridal Suite of Centereach but you do for Macy's I'm pretty sure. I thought they were a little snotty at Macy's but Bridal Suite has always been really friendly and helpful.

Re: Where to look for BM dresses?
i've been to paradise, village @ wedding center (but only to look for wedding dresses).
i did notice though..
paradise seemed to have a huge selection but for bridal gowns, they don't tell you the designer, i don't know if it is the same story for the bridesmaids dresses.
village also had a good selection but maybe not as much as paradise - they were very nice there and me browse around without too much pressure.
wedding center (not sure which one this was because i went to 2 in commack) - one of them was very nice (that might've been helen's) and the other wasn't as nice but i think they had a whole bottom level with only bridesmaid gowns. HTH.

I don't know if you decided on a place but my girls ordered theirs from Angel Bridal in East Islip. Very nice selection and the ladies there are really great!

Re: Where to look for BM dresses?
I used Wedding WORLD in commack for BM dresses... it's 2 mins from the wedding center and they are much nicer. (Ashley & Liz at Helen's Bridal)
My only recommendation would be to get BM alterations done somewhere else if they only need a hem.. to save $$

Re: Where to look for BM dresses?
I got my dress for a wedding I am in this year at Bridal Suite - they were very nice and the dress came in very quickly.
My girls got their dresses for my wedding at Alexandra's in Forest Hills which is also really nice - with a HUGE selection!

Me too-and they got a discount because I bought my dress there too.
Only thing with Lillettes is that they dont take credit cards, so be prepared with cash or checks.

Re: Where to look for BM dresses?
I had a really good experience at Paradise Bridals. Since a lot of my girls were bigger they told me which designer to go with. Danielle was my bridal consultant. She was amazing!!
