where to register

I want to go and get registered next week somtime. But I'm a little confused as to where I should go???

I really don't think I want to do Bed, Bath & beyond

I was thinking of either Macy's or Fortunoff?

Which place do you think is a better choice?

If you don't want BBB Macy is probably the next best thing....

I would do Macys. I hate the customer service at Fortunoff!

Macys!!! They have so much stuff there and the customer service is good too

Macys is ok -- you can also try Bloomingdales, Crate and Barrel, and Williams Sonoma.

I think BBB is the best place. They have so many things to choose from. We did BBB and Macys and aren't too pleased with Macys.

Definitely Macy's. They have more of a selection and it is a more reliable store.

Macys

I was considering Crate & Barrel also!

Re: where to register

I choose Macy's over Fortunoff ONLY b/c Macy's has more store locations. Many of my guests are from out of town (VT, VA, DC) so it did not make sense for me to register at a store that only has a few locations in the tristate area.

Re: where to register

bbb is the best. it has everything the other places has and it has the 20 percent off coupons. I too felt like i did not want bbb but really compare what you need its all the same from all places unless you want some high high end stuff and it will not be doable for most guests attending your bridal party. BBB has the best cust service and you can get cash back etc

You should def do Fortunoffs ... they have the same stuff as BBB at the same prices plus even more stuff ... so you wont miss out by not registering there. And I was thinking of registering at Target and Crate and Barrel

Re: where to register

i can't speak for myself b/c we're not registered yet, but I've been reading about some bad experiences with Macy's registries recently. We want to register at Macy's and BBB. We're also registering at Williams Sonoma but we're only sharing that registry with close family (they love Williams Sonoma!)

Re: where to register

I did all 3.
I really didn't want to do BBB, but I set it up on line because I felt they have other little things that I wanted.

Re: where to register

thanks for all of your opinions! I think I'm def gonna do Fortunoff for dishes, china, crystal etc.. They have such a bigger selection of that stuff. Maybe Bloomies or Macys. I didn't wanna do 2 places, but i suppose it's the best idea

We are registered at Macy's and have not had any problems.

I like Fortunoff and BBB. I HATE Macys customer service. I think they are very disorganized just from getting gifts of registries in the past. I think you can't go wrong with BBB, b/c of it's coupons.

why don't u ladies want to register at BBB ??

Re: where to register

I think other stores just have so much more selection on china, dinnerware, crystal, bedding.... that kind of stuff. However, everywhere has the same toasters, ttowels pots etc. So I guess BBB would be good for that kind of stuff.
