I need your expert opinions! :) I have decided to register at Macy's and Bed Bath & Beyond. Do you have any suggestions on what items to purchase from each place? I was thinking dinnerware, kitchen appliances and bathroom stuff from BBB and more decorative stuff from Macy's like the bedding and even luggage. What about pots and pans and bakeware? Can you let me know what you think is best to get from each? I plan on starting next week, so excited!!! Thanks!

i went through this too. i put some of the more pricer items on macys (esp since they give you cash back with your macys card) - my pots and pans, fine china, luggage, etc.

I registered at Crate & Barel and Target to have a wide variety of price range. I only registered for items that we currently dont have and will definitely use because it's so easy to go crazy and register for a bunch of stuff and when you realize it you dont even need or have no space for it.

We did Macy's and BBB also. We did our china, silverware, crystal, glasses, pots and pans, expensive kitchen electronics, and comforter sets at Macy's. We left BBB for the sheets, bathroom stuff, corningware, pyrex, knives, kitchen accessories, blankets, etc...With all the expensive stuff at Macy's we're going to wind up getting a TON of money backback.

We did BBB & Amazon. I did not register for china as FH & I have lived together for 4 years. We have a 'fancier' set of plates we use for company and I know we would never use china so for us, it was a waste. Amazon had our pots & pans for about 250 cheaper than BBB so that's why we started that too. Plus you can do giftcards and stuff

If you're registering at both I'd breakdown it down this way as well.
We ended up doing just Macy's as the perks worked better for us. I got 20% off of my wedding band for using them and we got a sizable gift card with the I think 5% back on all gifts purchased.
