I would like to start dress shopping this week and I'm not sure where to go. I live in Port Jefferson, any suggestions?

I'm not sure how close you are to any of these places but I would recommend any of the following places... make sure you make appts first for the best service!
Lidia's Bridal - Copiague Bridal Reflections - Massapequa or Carle Place Paradise Bridals - Patchogue Bridal Suite of Patchogue

Re: Where to shop for dresses
I went to fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point and they were wonderful!!!! My friend found the same dress she saw at Macys in Lake Grove and it was 600 dollars cheaper. I also found a dress I love, but I still want to try Bridal Reflections. They also have a deal that if you by the dress by 9/01/04, you get $100 off. The shop is right off 347.

Re: Where to shop for dresses
I will again suggest RK Bridal in Manhattan. But go during the week. Weekends are insane. I know it's far but they have so many dresses by so many different designers. And their prices are good.

YES! Fantasia's Is wonderful! They are so nice and helpful too!!! Especially if you live in PT Jeff, it's not too far away. Oh, and you don't need an appointment! http://www.liweddings.com/chat/topic.aspx?ID=153920

Re: Where to shop for dresses
Fantasia was wonderful! I went there on Sunday after going to david's Bridal, Macy's lakegrove, and the bridal suite of patchogue. They were so helpful there I ordered my dress on Sunday. They pulled a lot off the racks for me (stuff I thought I would never like) and fell in love with one that they actually picked out. Linda is who worked with me. SHe is awesome. When I put my dress on the owner of the shop actually started to cry!!! Not to mention me, mom and FH's mom. No appointment is also really great. The prices are good not as cheep as David's bridal but cheeper than Macy's.
