we're staying at the bucuti beach resort for our HM. it's a HM'ers resort and its on eagle beach which is not as busy and with alot less kids (which was the reason we booked!). we wanted to relax in peace and after months of research by FH, we decided on the bucuti. if you do a search on here, you'll find some great reviews too. HTH!

Re: Where to stay in Aruba?
We stayed at the Wyndham for our HM. It's on Palm Beach, were the high rise hotels are. We had a fantastic time and would definitely stay there again. If you want to see pics, here's the link to my community album

Re: Where to stay in Aruba?
I know this can happen anywhere- but I do not recommend the Marriot since my parents were robbed from their room by the maid- lots of $$$$ was missing and they eventually found out it was her- like I said I know this can happen anywhere- but the way the mArriot treated my parents and aunt and uncle (who they first accused of stealing the money) was terrible
we have stayed at the Radisson and love it!

Jenn, I spoke to my cousin on friday night and she said the Hyatt was gorgeous! I think they stayed at the divi, but she called me as soon as they landed while they were still on the plane so i didnt get to talk for too long, but I will let everyone know the details of the trip when i get a chance to speak to her again

Went here two years ago....LOVED it! Private beach and away from the strip of hotels. Only 5 minutes from both towns too!

Re: Where to stay in Aruba?
i've heard great things about bucuti for couples. It's a lot quieter and the Tara Suites are supposed to be beautiful. A friend of mine did the AI at Wyndam and loved it. There's also the Occidental AI - but they were undergoing renovations and I'm not sure if its done yet. The Hyatt I'm sure is beautiful, too.

Re: Where to stay in Aruba?
We just got back from our HM last week, and we stayed at the Wyndham (name has been recently changed to Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino). We chose the all-inclusive package and it was perfect for us. No thinking required at all!
If we go back, DH and I want to stay at the Hyatt. It was gorgeous. The Radisson was very nice also. In the low-rise section, I'd check out Bucuti.
We're trying to talk our parents in to going this fall. I miss it there already...

Re: Where to stay in Aruba?
Aruba is great. I wouldn't recommend going all-inclusive - far too many good restaurants. We stayed at the Radisson and it was great - though next time, we'll likely stay at the Hyatt - the pool there was much cooler. Good luck!
