I already have my dress and I'm worried about it sitting in my closet. Will it yellow? Is there a better way to store it? I also want to start buying and making little things for the wedding. I was thinking of getting a big plastic tub? Any advice or ideas would be great!

I have my dresses in plastic in the back of my closet. all squished so no air can get in. I'm keeping my fingers crossed though.. so any ideas I would appreciate too!
I bought a HUGE trunk from Target last year. That has all my wedding stuff for the wedding. I have a storage ottomon at the foot of my bed with all my magazines and things I need short term to plan. Then... I have all our gifts stored under my bed. Wow...Now that I think about it... I have A LOT of stuff.

Do you mean you already have your wedding dress? If possible, see if you can keep it at the bridal store you bought it from. I ordered mine from Macys and they will keep it until the wedding, so its protected.
I haven't started purchasing other items yet, but since I will be moving around a lot I will probably be using plastic tubs at my parents house to hold most other items.

i think its should be ok as long as its not hot where its being stored and theres no light.

Don't have my dress yet but as far as little goodies and such I basically designated a whole closet to it lol I put a few of those plastic tubs in there and I've been putting gifts/random stuff in them so they aren't dusty

I'm not sure about the dress... but I think the plastic tubs are a great idea to keep wedding items in!

When I took my dress home from the bridal store in the garment bag they told me in addition to the white garment bag..
1. wrap a white sheet around the entire thing to help from dust getting through to dull the color.
2. lay a white towel over the top (by the hanger) to also prevent dust from going through the sheet and garment bag so as not to dull the color.
Mines been in my closet and it still looks great.

lol in my closet i haveee... flip flop basket (only bc i bought it from someone on here uber cheap )
