I having a problem I live in Staten Island and FH Lives in Long Island (BELLMORE). We decide that we are getting married in Long Island Since I am getting married on Sunday the churches in Staten Island don't have an early service for us. So my FH church can marry us early. I need to know where is a nice park to take pictures. I have seen some brides pictures and I like ang&rich background. Any ideas where to take a pictures in Long Island?

A popular (and free) location is the Garden City Gazebo. Check out in the Bride's Review, somethingblu's review. She and her DH went there for pics. FH and I went there for our engagement pics, and may go there on our wedding day (provided we have time and it's not too hot and humid or rainy) It's adjacent to the Garden City Hotel.

I replied to your fm but thought I'd post here just in case:
We took our pictures at the Planting Fields in Oyster Bay and I am so very happy we did that. My best pictures were from there.
what about off the belt parkway with the Verrazano behind you?
do you know where the reception is yet? that will help you narrow down where you want to go to take pics.
I was going to suggest the park off of the belt with the bridge behind you too! I've seen photos done with the Throgs Neck and Whitestone in the background and they look really nice.
If you're looking for places in LI, what about Old Westbury Gardens?
