where to take E pics?

Hi -
Can anyone suggest some nice places to take some engagement/casual pictures? We booked Duet and they told us to pick the location, but i'm relatively new to LI and my FH can't think of anywhere..
We live in RVC and Hicksville, so somewhere not too far away (within an hour?)
We'd like someplace outside, with maybe some old buildings or nice trees, or by the water.

We took ours in the gardens near the mansion at C.W. Post (where we went to school) which has tons of trees and brick benches. You could also try Northport Village, which is right by the L.I. Sound and very old/New England-y and pretty.

We took ours at the beach - they came out great!

Jones Beach - you could use the ocean and the Great South Bay as backdrops. Long Beach is another option.

teany - we have the same photographer and we took ours at C.W. Post too!!

Go to the planting fields arborteum in Oyster Bay. They have an old mansion there that makes for great pictures. Old Westbury Gardens is another great place to take pics.

We just did ours at CW Post....really nice grounds & various locations there...
