Where to take e-pics? UPDATE!!!!

FH and I have to schedule our e-pics with Duet. We live in Eastern Suffolk but will travel for good pics.

Orginally we were thinking of Time Square since we like the busy-ness of it all and the lights and stuff. Although now I am seeing so many park and beach pics that are so pretty I am doubting what we talked about. Obviously a beach shoot would be much easier. However we also want something original. Anyone with ideas or suggestions it would be appreciated!

Sooo I have to thank you all for your wonderful suggestions!! You Guys are THE BEST!!

However I just talked to FH and we were throwing around ideas and we decided on a Vineyard! This is very us... I love Wine and Matt loves when I drink Wine bc I don't bishhh at him as much... JK... so it's a good blend (no pun intended ) Now I have to find out what Vineyards will allow this, if there is a site fee and which one to go with. Fortuntley my parents are big Wine-O's and know a bunch of places out East!!! SOOO YAY oh and of course call Duet and schedule them..

i voted for other! i have seen a few girls do pics in the streets like in soho or in the meatpacking district...i love how those come out!!!

I say Times Square. It sounds like it is expressive of what you guys both like and want!
I think Duet can do AWESOME photos in Times Square. Plus, like you said, it'll be different!

I do too!! But I am not that familiar with the city (like actual streets.) Once I have an address I can find them. Any specific areas you know of... feel free to FM

I say go for Times Square! Do what you both love!
We did the beach because we both LOVE the beach and boating!

If you tell Duet the general area you want your pics taken (SoHo?) they will give you a meeting spot. They've done so many different locations they know what they've doing if you just tell them the feel you are going for.

We're doing our pics by the Brooklyn Bridge and in that area - cobblestone streets over there!

i was gonna say the same...to ask duet.

but if you go to meat packing district...Little West 12th street is really cute with the cobblestone streets and all the bars around. It would make a great setting.

YES! Little W 12th is great and it's not too far from the Hudson River. There is a board walk type thing over there and a little park

Thanks so much girls!! I think I have actually been over there. I have to talk to FH and see what he thinks. This seems more romantic than Times Square but still city like which we want too.
