FH and I want to take pictures with our bridal party in addition to those at the reception hall. We are getting married at Thatched Cottage in Centerport.
Can anyone recommend a location that is nearby that is nice for indoor/outdoor pictures? We looked at Vanderbilt Mansion/Museum and we liked it, but wanted to see what else was out there.

yay a rh twin! yeh not sure yet .. let me know what you come up with .. were still in process of booking our photographer .. and he mentioend VM .. did u get prices for the permit for them?? -Lisa

Thatched Cottage is very close to Northport Harbor. You can get some gorgeous pictures down by the water, on the dock, at the park and even on main st. there.

Are you willing to travel closer to the city? There are some great spots in Queens that overlook the skyline or even in Brooklyn under the Bklyn Brdige.
