Where will you keep your Cardbox at the wedding

I have read at least three stories of cardboxs being stolen by people not at the wedding. Is this something we now have to worry about?

I've heard the same things....so we are keeping it next to our sweet heart table (not by any exits) and our card box has a lock on it.

Ours will be behind/next to our sweetheart table. I haven't heard about this, that's terrible!

I'm placing my card box next to my sweetheart table. My box is almost 2 feet tall and can't imagine someone walking away with it without anyone noticing. I'm cutting a slit to place the cards and now after reading horror stories, I will be glueing the top of it. I also read a article where one couple placed bricks and ringing bells in their box. I find this a little extreme but I rather be safe then sorry!!!

A friend of my family had this happen to them last weekend so unfortunately I do think it is something you need to be aware of. I like the bell idea a lot and may be trying to replicate that for our own box. It is really sad that is the way of the world these days, but better to be safe than sorry!

This is so terrible! My friend used a bird cage at her wedding last year, and I'm thinking of doing the same. It's all wire so while you can slip a card in, it should be hard to get them out. You can also put a lock on the opening and if I have to, I'll chain it to the table right by me!

My card box is all open and honestly, I never thought of something like this happening. Guess I'm too trusting. But it'll be right by us, and not close to the door, so I'm not worried.

Wow! I've never heard of that happening before! That's terrible. We'll probably have it by the sweetheart or cake table anyway.

Yes I'm definitely putting it near my sweetheart table. I was just at a wedding where someone called all the guests to ask how much did we give because some envelopes were opened. Believe or not this crazy stuffy really does happen.

It does! At my friends wedding last year the mother of the groom caught the bridal attendant stealing money from cards! So sad to think ppl should have to worry about it on their wedding day
